<p>Sarah Rascón was raised in El Sereno by her immigrant grandmother, and she was the first in her family to finish college. She has spent her career protecting the parks, the hillsides and the water we depend on and serving as a planning commissioner in East LA, where she was one of the people deciding what got built in our neighborhoods. She has been on our side her whole career. In the State Senate, Rascón will fight to stop the big tech and the billion dollar corporations from taking our water, our power, and our say.</p><p>Rascón is the only candidate endorsed by Senator María Elena Durazo, Planned Parenthood Action Project Los Angeles County Action Fund, California Environmental Voters, California Working Families Party, and the Northeast Democratic Club.</p>
